* What are your fees and when do I need to pay?

Click on the 'Term Info' tab in the menu above : Fees are payable up front for each term to secure a place in the lesson. No place is guaranteed without payment and enrolling.

* Can I join part way through a term?

Enrolment is on-going, so you can join anytime! You may still register even if the start date has passed. Tuition fees will be adjusted on a pro rata basis.  Contact us by email on bookings@playballwimbledon.com

* What if I miss a lesson?

No refunds are given for missed lessons. Lessons missed due to illness, or a class cancelled due to extreme weather, (i.e. snow), can be made up by attending other classes on an alternate day and time. You can view the class schedule on our website. Make-ups do not transfer into the next term and must be cleared and booked with Playball Wimbledon before attending.

* Do I (the carer) participate in the lesson?

All parents are invited to enjoy watching the class from a distance to keep distractions to a minimum. Parents must step off the court to let the class continue under the guidance of the teacher. If your child is unsettled, please take them away to settle them and then bring them back into the lesson. If your child needs to be made secure for the first lesson, please stand behind them. Encourage them to get involved and do step away as soon as possible. New 2‚’'s may sit with their carer for the first few classes, until they get used to the routine.

* All the classes are full. Can I place my child in a lesson with older or younger children?

No. Each curriculum level is designed by child development professionals to best suit the physical milestone stages and goals of the age range they address. Please accept our professional judgement when placing a child in a particular class. Please allow our teachers to take control of the class by watching your child from a distance.

* What First Aid facilities are at each lesson?

First aid is taken very seriously, and we encourage you to know where all kits are located. Our first aid kits are on court with a Playball coach.

* What are the lengths of each class?

Playball classes at the Playball Wimbledon franchise run for 1 hour with a 5 minute snack and water break in the middle. There is no snack break during the tennis or cricket classes.

* What about clothing and different weather conditions?

As Playball is an outdoor programme, please dress your child appropriately. In wet weather, a water resistant hooded coat should be worn. Some venues do not have an indoor venue alternative. Despite weather reports, there may be a gap in the weather, so our teachers will be there, rain or shine to fit in as much Playball as possible. There may be an odd week where it is impossible for us to conduct a lesson due to weather. In this instance, parents will be notified by email or text, as soon as it is possible, informing them that the lesson is cancelled. You may make up this lesson. Please see our policy with regard to these make up lessons.

* Can I just "drop in" to a class

We do not allow drop in sessions.

* What is your refund policy?

7 days‚’ notice from the first day of your booking must be given in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within the term may be given a credit note to use in the future, towards another term or camps. This can be used for another child in the same family, but is not transferable between families. This is effective from the date you tell us you are no longer coming.

* What is your data protection policy?

We will use the information you provide to communicate with you and inform you of up and coming lessons, camps and special offers. Emails are our primary form of communication. It is up to you, the client, to keep your mobile number and email address current. If you fail to inform us of a change of mobile number, email address or address, we cannot be held liable for information you may have missed.

* Do you offer trials?

Our Playball classes are extremely small in number. For this reason, we find that "trial sessions" are not the best way forward as it overloads our teacher-pupil ratios.‚  Please do not bring a friend to the class without prior arrangement with the administrator. If enrolling for a new term, we ask parents to go through the enrolment process with payment up front to reserve a place in the lesson. Should your child attend a class prior to payment, we accept this as your first lesson and your fees will be calculated accordingly.‚  If you choose not to continue after the first lesson, we expect that you will inform us of this within 24 hours. There will be no charge for this lesson and if you have paid for the term, your fees will be refunded.
